Wine Club

In short: exclusivity, value and convenience. Sam makes only small quantities of wine and international demand means that often his new wines sell out on release. As a wine club member you are guaranteed an allocation of new release wines each year, sent directly to your home.  You get 20% off your wine club allocations + 10% off any other Sam Harrop wine purchases, as well as complimentary entry to exclusive Sam Harrop events, and opinion pieces direct to your mailbox.

Simple. Click the ‘Join Now’ button for either The Collector or The Enthusiast allocation on our website. Put in your personal and payment details and you’re done.

Joining is free.  When you join you commit to receiving your first two orders initially. After that membership rolls on annually until such time as you notify us you would like it to cease.

When you log into the website, your club member discount will automatically apply, giving you a 10% discount on any additional wine orders.

You are able to select the frequency with which you receive your allocations, either every 6 or 12 months, for both The Collector and The Enthusiast club. You will receive two cases (12 bottles) with each allocation, unless you opt to add more bottles during your customization window.

Typically cases go out within a few days of your sign-up date. We will always keep you in the loop so you know when to expect the delivery. 

As a wine club member you will be notified first of any events hosted by Sam. Where there is a charge for the event, you will be offered a complimentary place.

Please reach out to us to check Sam’s availability. We do our absolute best to accommodate, but tastings are dependent on his travel schedule and cannot be guaranteed within a timeframe.

Sam will work with you to customise the experience to your preferences and group size, whether friends, family or even work colleagues. The only cost to you as a wine club member is the wines consumed during the event.

You input your credit card details when you sign up. They are held by a secure third-party portal (not with us) so you don’t need to input them again. You may update your details at any time by logging into your customer account.

You are debited for the full amount of your first shipment upon sign-up, and following that, again each year on that same sign-up date. 

Yes, it’s encouraged! As a member, you get a 10% discount on all online purchases.

Certainly. If you wish to change, pause or cancel your membership, simply log into your account and find those options under the Club Membership section of the dashboard.

No, freight is covered by us for your club allocation wines. We do charge a flat rate for additional wine orders, but we often offer promotions to our wine club members that include free shipping. Keep an eye on your inbox for such offers.

The Collector allocation is a mix of our Waiheke Island Cedalion brand and our Tūrangawaewae brand – these wines are made from single vineyards chosen for their uniqueness and ability to produce a premium example of the varietal. They are a true reflection of the site in any given year, and have exceptional aging potential.

The Enthusiast allocation is a selection of our Grand Amateur wines. These wines are a fresh take on styles, varietals and processes and are made from stunning sites mainly in the Hawkes Bay. They offer great value and drink well on release.

The default allocations for both will include red and wine whites as Sam’s specialty is Chardonnay and Syrah. However, you are able to customize your allocation through your account dashboard to suit your preferences.
